Summer is here, the water is warming up, and the UK events calendar is absolutely packed. We’ve mapped out every single watersports event happening across the country — 373 in total, with 185 still to come this season — and pulled them all together in one place: the brand-new UK Watersports Events Calendar.

Open-water swims, kayak races, rowing regattas, sailing, surfing, SUP and triathlons — whatever gets you on the water, there’s something coming up near you. Here’s a taste of what’s on the horizon.

Happening right now — this weekend

If you’re itching to get out there, the next few days are stacked:

• Henley Women’s Regatta — Henley-on-Thames, from 19 June. Elite rowing on one of the most famous stretches of water in the world.
• Chillswim Coniston End to End — Coniston Water, Lake District, 20 June. A bucket-list 5.25-mile swim down the length of Coniston.
• Swimrun Gower 2026 — Gower Peninsula, Wales, 20 June. Swim, run, repeat, along one of Britain’s most beautiful coastlines.
• York Canoe Race — River Ouse, York, 20 June.

• ICF SUP World Cup & SUPER Festival — English Riviera, Torquay, 24 June. World-class stand-up paddleboarding right here in the UK.
• Long Course Weekend Wales — Tenby, 26 June. The legendary three-day swim, bike and run festival.
• EPIC Lakes Swim – Ullswater — Pooley Bridge, 27 June. Stunning open-water swimming in the heart of the Lakes.
• Burgh Island Race — Bigbury-on-Sea, Devon, 27 June. A classic round-the-island sea swim.
• Junior Surf Series – Croyde — Croyde Beach, 27 June. The next generation of surfers doing their thing.
• Richmond Regatta — Richmond, London, 27 June.
